The Indian Airforce has released the Provisional Select List for the post of Airforce Agniveers Vayu Intake 01/2026. Educational Qualification
For Science Stream:
- 10+2 Intermediate with Mathematics, Physics, and English with minimum 50% marks and 50% in English
- OR 3-Year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automobile, Computer Science, Instrumentation, IT) with 50% marks and 50% in English
- OR 2-Year Vocation Course with non-vocational subjects Physics and Math with 50% aggregate and 50% in English
For other streams:
- 10+2 Intermediate with minimum 50% aggregate and 50% in English
- OR 2-Year Vocation Course with minimum 50% aggregate and 50% in English
Physical Standards and Medical Requirements
- Minimum Height: Male 152.5 cm, Female 152 cm, North East/Hilly Areas 147 cm, Lakshadweep 150 cm
- Chest: 77 cm with 5 cm expansion
- Weight: Proportionate to height and age
- Running: Male - 1.6 km in 7 minutes, Female - 1.6 km in 8 minutes
- Push-ups and Sit-ups as per standards

- Phase I: Online Test
- Phase II: Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
- Phase III: Medical Examination
- Adaptability Tests I & II
